★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mooi oud landgoed. Kasteel helaas niet opengesteld voor publiek. Wel is het mogelijk het landgoed te betreden van zons opkomst tot zons ondergang.
Beautiful old estate. Unfortunately the castle is not open to the public. It is possible to enter the estate from sunrise to sunset.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In het winterhalfjaar is het landgoed rond Huis den Berg een prima plek om vele mooie paddenstoelen op de gevoelige plaat vast te leggen. Vlak bij de ingang van de havezate is er gelegenheid om te parkeren. Vanaf de parkeerplaats wandel je meteen het bos rond Huis Den Berg in. Je kunt hier tijdens een korte wandeling, bijvoorbeeld rond de Bergergracht, de vele variaties van de natuur, en vele mooie uitzichten aanschouwen.
In the winter half year, the estate around Huis den Berg is a great place to record many beautiful mushrooms on film. There is an opportunity to park close to the entrance of the manor. From the parking lot you immediately walk into the forest around Huis Den Berg. During a short walk, for example around the Bergergracht, you can see the many variations of nature and many beautiful views.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Natuurlijk is het jammer dat je niet binnen de hekken kunt komen, maar er valt genoeg te zien bij een wandeling rondom de Havezathe. Mooie doorkijkjes langs en netjes aangelegd pad geven een goed beeld van de Havezathe en de tuin rondom. Je passeert een lage brug en loopt langs tientallen hoge rododendrons en een heldere slotgracht.
Zeker een bezoekje waard en het viel me op dat het nog rustig was, zelfs op tweede pinksterdag.
Of course it is a pity that you cannot get inside the gates, but there is plenty to see when walking around the Havezathe. Beautiful vistas along a nicely laid out path give a good impression of the Havezathe and the surrounding garden. You pass a low bridge and you walk past dozens of high rhododendrons and a clear moat.
Well worth a visit and it struck me that it was still quiet, even on Whit Monday.
