Dickenz is een strandtent op het strand waar je ook een lekkere borrel drinkt terwijl de kinderen buiten in de duinen spelen. Op tien minuten rijden van Renesse geniet je er van een wel verdiende lunch. Buiten op ons beschutte terras met fenomenaal uitzicht op de Noordzee, of binnenin ons casual restaurant, waar je uitkijkt op het strand.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ walked up to the "restaurant" where a sign said "we serve you from here" at the front. Ordered ice creams and 2 coffees. We got told to get coffee out the back (inside). Coffees got given to us and as we wanted to sit down inside (2 people present in a room that takes 60) we got told we werent allowed to sit down as we ordered out the front. No sign saying we couldn't sit down, we even got the coffees inside. When i asked what sort of service that is the girl said that that is "their policy". When i refused to leave (nothing said we could't sit inside, the entire establishment runs under one name and all 4 had purchased something) she threatened with the police. The most horrible service and attitude i encountered this holiday. "Dutch hospitality" doesn't exist here. Ashamed to be a fellow Dutchman in this case.
