Doe je voltijd mbo of zit je op het voortgezet onderwijs en ben je 18 jaar geworden? Het kwartaal na je 18e verjaardag heb je recht op studiefinanciering of tegemoetkoming scholieren. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite close to metro station Heemstedestraat on the line 50 connecting to Isolatorweg. This office is bigger and staffs are friendly and helpful. For the Inburgering, it is on the first floor. The office is easier to find.

First they want to help students, then they do everything possible to suck money.
If you try to reach them both by phone or email, you only get more upset by the incompetence of the staff.
Those giving 5 stars are clearly either paid for it or employees at the government office.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff is friendly yet provide misleading and inconsistent information - one person tells you something which the next one disagrees with. Their response times are unbelievable - I have appealed for my case three months ago and after submitting all the correct information required of me, I am still waiting for their back-payments. I have been to their office an average of 1.5 times a month since the start of the year, simply because communication via the phone or online is impossible. Also, if you’re going to make expats work for their student finance, you better treat them with some respect.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went for 5 inburgeringexamen and in my experience the staff were kind and helpful. I went on both a weekend and a weekday and the weekend is much less busy and a much more relaxed experience. They tell you to arrive at least 45 minutes ahead of time but do not worry if you are running late.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Despite many unhappy reviews here (maybe only people who feel treated unfairly actually give reviews) I was helped out quite well on every visit. Short waiting times, flexible booking and cancelling of appointments and patient employees. As an expat, I also appreciated that during my first visit I was walked through the whole 5 page application form because it was in dutch with him translating and explaining everything to me. Maybe my experiences do not apply to the issues of others here but to be fair I received great service.
