★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vandaag gebeld met de dierenambulance, na eerst contact te hebben gehad met de egelbescherming. Wij hebben een egeltje (al ruim 4 weken) in onze tuin die iedere avond komt. Vandaag liep hij/zij er ineens overdag. Liep moeilijk en zag er anders uit dan normaal. Instructies opgevolgd en dierenambulance gebeld. Deze waren super snel ter plaatsen en hebben samen met mij de egel bekeken. Beestje had de hele voetjes open liggen wat er ontstoken uit zag. Egeltjes is meegenomen en ze gaan hem behandelen en wordt daarna naar de egelbescherming in Nijmegen gebracht. Super hoe ze met gewonde dieren en dieren in nood omgaan.
 Called the animal ambulance today, after first contacting the hedgehog protection. We have a hedgehog (for over 4 weeks) in our garden that comes every evening. Today he/she suddenly walked there during the day. Walked difficult and looked different than usual. Followed instructions and called animal ambulance. These were super fast on site and watched the hedgehog together with me. Beestje had the whole feet open, which looked inflamed. Hedgehogs has been taken and they are going to treat him and then he is taken to the hedgehog protection in Nijmegen. It's great how they deal with injured animals and animals in need.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The personell doesn't seem happy about visitors wanting to visit animals and play with them. Very restricted regulations on that. The place itself seems clean and animals happy though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ People who work here will do anything to make their guest's stay as comfortable as possible, hoping these unfortunate animals will be able to leave soon, to continue life in a warm and welcoming, permanent home.
