Entrances are at the Bilderdijkkade and the Bilderdijkstraat, but parking space is limited on both sides.
With supermarkets Vomar and Albert Heijn just around the corner, start with Dirk for your daily grocery shopping.
Bread isn't their forte, just so you know.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a bag full of shopping from Albert Heijn and the checkout person decided to check everything in it. Fortunately, I had the receipt from AH, so I could prove I wasn't a thief. However, when she was finally satisfied, she did my checkout and, then, unbelievably, asked if I wanted a receipt. I couldn't stop laughing at the stupidity of that question.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are cheap, go there, nothing really fancy but all less than average. Cashiers who don't really care either. The alcool shop next to is absolutely fine though.

If you have a bag/pack they want to look in to it they think you are a Thief.
You have to take a big baskets what is all really dirty and not efficient or you have a big problem with the staff and managers, ridiculous! Never ever gonna go there again. Thanks

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ last night during the rain and thunderstorms a girl wasn't allowed with a small dog! this is not ok, the store is not animal friendly! I am very upset about it, I wonder what the Society of the Protection of Animals thinks about when the dog is required to be left in the rain and cold outside ... I feel very big shame for this company!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This grocery store is fast and furious. It is not for the "faint of heart"! It is well stocked and almost overwhelming at first, tight and crowded. Even before (Covid-times) it would be difficult to roll through here with those HUGE grocery carts.
But now during Covid-times when you are mandated to take a GIGANTIC grocery cart with you, it is even more challenging.
But their selection and prices are nice.
I rarely shop here except for their separate wine and spirits section (an entirely different part of the store).
Overall a decent place to shop. Two entrances (and exits)...so that's a plus.
Don't look for frills here...but look for good prices!
