★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dirk is starting to get the name of selling bad fruit and vegetables. I don't know why, but the chance of getting a brown mango or avocado are closer to 50%. This is not the case in any other supermarket we have in Zaandam.
Having said that. This is my main goto supermarket. Best prices you'll find in the region.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's okay, wish they had some more options for exotic things, they don't really offer anything that's unknown for the Dutch. It's a shame, expacialy for the room they have. With an alternative layout they could easily add an extra row of shelfs. The staff is alright, nothing to worry about there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very old fashion súper market. It is dark, it has 2 cashier open. Long queues and you can’t take your basket past the cashier so need to hurry up and pack your items there as quickly as possible, while the clients behind you wait impatiently. Tip: don’t come if you’re in a hurry and bring an euro if you want to use a trolley.
