★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic Beach. Many kms of clean sandy beach and dunes. Between mid-September and mid-April (throughout the winter) dogs area allowed off lead anywhere on the beach. During the summer moonths from mid-April to mid-September dogs are only allowed on the public area of the beach before 7am and after 7pm. However there is a specific dog beach area about 2 km along the beach, to the north, where dogs are permitted at any time of day even in summer period.

I love that there is a forest nearby to go for a small walk in case there’s too much wind (haven’t visited it yet though).
Everyone seems very respectful of the dog’s presence and the owner seem respectful enough to clean after them.
I also saw a few horses passing by!
Plus people are doing water sports and nearby there are quite a few restaurants and cocktail bars to choose from so definitely the whole package!
