I have very weak brain nerves and a weak heart as well - my sleep is easy to be disturbed thus I have frequent insomnia. Last November I had insomnia for THREE weeks. Both sleeping pills and my neurologist couldn't help. Literally I felt like dying with a hollow brain and irregular heartbeats. In despair I turned to acupuncture for the first time. The acupuncturist Xiaoli is very knowledgeable and analytical. She asked me so many detailed questions that I'd never think would be relevant. She also listened to me well, completely different from other doctors who would say 'that's normal' for most of my complaints. For the first time I felt so understood. To be honest, I didn't expect wonders after the first treatment - it had been disturbing me so long and I knew it would take time. But it turned out to be a wonder. For the first time that month I fell asleep, a shallow daytime nap. Then the very night I had a deep sound sleep, and the days after. So far I've been visiting Xiaoli for more than three months, and my sleep has been much improved. I would highly recommend people with either acute or chronic complaints have a try.

I felt being treated with serious knowledge and full attention. Chinese medicine and acupuncture is a different philosophy and have different theoretical foundation than western medicine, Dr. Dong explains clearly the situation at hand and the expectations. It is a great way to build trust and in turn receive a curing treatment. I would recommend to all.
