โ โ โ โ โ I have been to Doppio many times and find the coffee excellent and most of the food. The staff are also very pleasant. However, there is a big difference when Peter the manager is present and when he isn't. When Peter is not present, the service is slower and less focused. Today for lunch, there were only two other customers in the restaurant when we were there and yet it took a staff of four 30 mins to bring us our lunches. Both of our lunches did not have the correct ingredients as described on the menu. We have had these dishes before, so we knew the difference. The ladies' lavatory had no toilet paper and the toilet seat was dangerously loose. That said, after I complained when we paid the bill, the young man apologised and gave us a two-meal-for -one card for our next visit.

โ โ โ โ โ Great place that we visit regularly for a good coffee and something to eat. The lunch menu isn't very big, but it certainly is big enough and very good for a coffee bar. The coffee is always prepared very well and they even have a monthly change in coffee melanges that you can choose. The tea is also prepared perfectly, with very distinct and tasteful tea melanges. The service is amazing, very friendly and skilled in English. Definitely a recommendation.

โ โ โ โ โ It says on the menu that speciality coffee is available at an extra charge, when asked for it, i was told it was not currently available. Double cheese sandwich was ok. Normal coffee was ok.

They do take credit cards.
