★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Uniek beeld van Hans Mes! Wat een kop! Ik kende al de Gatenvogel/ grutto bij Zoeterwoude Zuidbuurt van deze kunstenaar. Deze Dreckschnabel spreekt nog meer tot de verbeelding. Fotogeniek. De omgeving wat minder. Ik zou zeggen: verdiende een mooiere plek. Hoe dan ook, breng een bezoek aan Dreckschnabel!
 Unique statue of Hans Mes! What a head! I already knew this artist's Gatenvogel/ Godwit near Zoeterwoude Zuidbuurt. This Dreckschnabel appeals even more to the imagination. Photogenic. The environment less so. I'd say deserved a nicer place. Anyway, pay a visit to Dreckschnabel!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I first saw this guy when I was coming back home from my first exam at RUG. Then I randomly met him at a lonely winter night. Sounds weird - but I got attached to him. Now I’m in Groningen again three years after leaving the city and it’s truly a pity I didn’t have time to come to visit. Hope he now brings hope and some calmness to the new students of the city.
