Well set up museum with a tail about poultry. Maybe make a booklet for children to follow and search for specific things to keep there attention as there is a bit to see.

It is a nicely organised collection of items including foto and film reflecting the development of poultry farming from scavenging birds to current modern poultry housing in the Netherlands. Friendly volunteers explain everything. There also a shop and cafΓ© with coffee and tea.

Really cute little museum with informative displays (a very few in English), an egg incubator where you could watch eggs hatch, a little enclosure full of tiny chicks to hold, a bunch of enclosures outside with a variety of such breeds of chicken, a shop with a large number of chicken related items for sale, and a little cafe with drinks and snacks. Worth the small €6 entry fee just to get to hold the chicks! Was also nicely quiet when we arrived in late afternoon on a Saturday.

A wonderful museum that I would highly recommend. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. We were taken around by a member of staff who took us to all his favourite parts of the museum and explained everything to us. At the end he also took us in to the auction room where we got some eggs and an egg based alcohol drink. He was very friendly, super knowledgeable and also had fantastic English. We got to hold some chicks and had a wonderful time. Go to this museum!!!!!
