About DutchFiets
Jong, vooruitstrevend met een drive voor impact
Met een opa als fietsenmaker en een Mechanical Engineering diploma op zak, werden in 2016 door middel van een crowdfunding de 1.0 prototype gerealiseerd door initiatiefnemer en directeur Johannes Alderse Baas.
Inmiddels is hij met DutchFiets de start-up fase voorbij en zit het bedrijf in de scale-up fase. Samen met een snelgroeiend team en een investeerder zetten ze de fietsbranche op z‘n kop.
In de nabije toekomst lanceert DutchFiets nog meer strategische projecten op het gebied van recycling, lokale, in-house productie en het verder minimaliseren van de footprint. Innovatie is dan ook essentieel en het bedrijf zet hier stevig op in.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ "N pracht en kwalitatief erg goed product. Ik fiets er nu een jaar mee, ongeveer 4.000 km door weer en wind. Geen enkele keer onderhoud, nooit meer naven en ketting smeren, roest is onmogelijk, schoonmaken is niet nodig. De twee versnellingsnaaf met terugtraprem is voldoende voor elke windkracht in Nederland. Door het gebruik van gerecycled plastic, de doordachte onderdelen, originele en praktische vorm, het enthousiasme van makers zou dit eigenlijk de meest verkochte fiets van Nederland moeten zijn. Nu ook nog eens in nieuwe prachtige kleuren.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Al een maand lang geniet ik van de 3.0 versie van Dutchfiets. De eerste versie was al tof; met behoorlijk wat aandacht onderweg en geen onderhoud. Maar deze 3.0 versie van Dutchfiets is een schot in de roos.
Met name de versnelling te bedienen met de trappers is een ware upgrade. De verlichting is aangedreven via de naafdynamo, waardoor je altijd verlicht kan rijden.
Er is veel aandacht geweest om een nieuwe versie Dutchfiets van hoge kwaliteit te maken en dat is gelukt. De fiets rijdt erg soepel. Hierdoor extra snel weg bij het stoplicht en kan je vlotjes door het verkeer.
Kortom heel veel rijplezier op deze unieke Dutchfiets.
I have been enjoying the 3.0 version of Dutchfiets for a month now. The first version was already cool; with a lot of attention on the road and no maintenance. But this 3.0 version of Dutchfiets is a bull's eye.
In particular, the gear to be operated with the pedals is a true upgrade. The lighting is powered by the hub dynamo, so you can always drive with relief.
A lot of attention has been paid to making a new version of the Dutch bicycle of high quality and we succeeded. The bike rides very smoothly. This allows you to leave the traffic light extra quickly and you can smoothly through the traffic.
In short, lots of driving pleasure on this unique Dutch bike.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eind 2020 de Dutchfiest 2.0 gekocht. Wordt dagelijks gebruikt en we hebben er enorm veel fietsplezier van. Door weer en wind over de 'vieze' rivierdijk. Ideaal omdat alle draaiende delen goed beschermd zijn. Top klasse afwerking en nauwelijks onderhoud. Makkelijk schoon te houden.
Verlichting is uitstekend! Zien en gezien worden.
En blijkbaar doen doen we andere wegebruikers ook een plezier: alleen maar duimpjes omhoog! Foto is gemaakt bij Fort Everdingen
Bought the Dutchfiest 2.0 at the end of 2020. Used on a daily basis and we have a lot of cycling pleasure. Through wind and weather over the 'dirty' river dyke. Ideal because all rotating parts are well protected. Top class finish and hardly any maintenance. Easy to keep clean.
Lighting is excellent! See and be seen.
