Ecolodge La Granja was the perfect place to rest after a day of walking in The Veluwe. Macarena gave us a warm welcome and showed us around the place. Answering all our questions about it. In the evening we were served a lovely dinner. For us there was a good balance between a conversation and great hospitality but also some privacy.
The room we stayed in was in perfect conditions. Granted they only opened 2 months ago. But still! There is a beautiful free-standing bath, a shower and a fantastic bed.
Breakfast was also exceedingly good! After that we took a nice walk around the area. There's plenty to see!
And Macarena even gave us an extra tour to see al the animals. Jellybean, the pig/boar(?), Is absolutely adorable! And there are plenty of other animals to see and pet.
An eco-friendly pool is being build and should be finished soon. I wouldn't be surprised if we will return this summer to enjoy the pool and the ecolodge again!
I can highly recommend a visit to the fantastic place Macarena has build here!
