Buiten de stadswallen kunt u gratis parkeren op de Hoofdpoortstraat, dit is op 250 meter loopafstand van De Banjaard. Nieuw is het parkeerterrein bij de Stadsentree Havenpoort. Het terrein telt zo’n 330 parkeerplaatsen, waaronder ook voor bussen en campers. Beide parkeerplaatsen zijn op loopafstand van ons eetcafé.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was great, really well prepared, and beautifully presented, so the chef is excellent.
The service is lacking to the point of non-existence, and the seats were dirty (crumbs). Three servers were standing around chatting after we asked for drinks and dessert.
And, no, they were not busy...
Edit: Visited on Sunday afternoon between 14h30 and 16h00. We asked for sparkling water, which did not arrive. We asked for a bottle of wine and got a glass of wine. Several bottles on the menu were unavailable. We asked for coffee and dessert afterwards to the person who cleared the table, since the waitress paid no attention to us - only two tables in the restaurant were occupied. I appreciate the fact that the Covid lockdown had huge implications on staff turn-around and, therefore, quality, but this was simply just bad service.
