After a long drive back home I decided not to cook but to take my kid out for dinner
"De Belhammel" is a nice bistro in Etten Leur, where you can have a good meal and a nice beer.
Service is fast and friendly. The menu is simple bjt tasty andere has something for every taste.
On tuesdays they have unlimited spareribs, wich are really good at this place.
I ordered a mixed grill and a kids menu (chicken nuggets) with baked potatoes for both of us.
Meat was tasty and tender the potatoes could have been baked a little longer for my taste. They seemed cooked in oil rather thans baked. I could have ordered fries instead and I regretted my choice. I saw a table nearby where they had nice golden brown fries that sounded crispy, even from a distance.
So next time I will go for the safe choice.

An English menu is available and the staff are happy to explain what a "Broodje" is...
