Saturday evening. Leggy youth makes noise and leaves them dirty. Respect is hard to find. Fortunately, we anchored. Beautiful surroundings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Het is een best leuk eiland, en het heeft een best grappig verhaal, het heet namelijk de dode hond omdat er het verhaal rondgaat dat er een hond van een schipper is verdronken, vandaar de dode (oftewel, dooie) hond.
It is quite a nice island, and it has a pretty funny story, because it is called the dead dog because there is the story that a dog of a skipper has drowned, hence the dead (or dead) dog.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Alle randmeer locaties zijn leuk, maar de Dode Hond is helaas wel erg dichtgegroeid. Grote boten kunnen hier ook gemakkelijk aanleggen en dit doen ze dan ook vaak...
All Randmeer locations are nice, but the Dead Dog has unfortunately become very dense. Large boats can also easily moor here and they often do this ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kleine haven met een redelijk aantal boxen en steigers om langs te liggen. Er zijn geen verdere faciliteiten. Ook niet mogelijk om te reserveren. Geen permanent toezicht. Het eiland wordt wel beheerd door een stichting en daar betaal je per nacht een klein bedrag voor. Volgens mij kan je ook een bedrag betalen voor een heel seizoen, en dan kan je op bijna alle eilanden liggen zonder verdere vergoeding.
Small harbor with a reasonable number of boxes and jetties to moor along. There are no further facilities. Also not possible to make a reservation. No permanent surveillance. The island is managed by a foundation and you pay a small amount per night. I think you can also pay an amount for a whole season, and then you can lie on almost all islands without further compensation.

Jammer is wel dat je maar een klein deel van het eiland toegankelijk is. Je kan niet lekker een rondje lopen.
A lovely island, especially in the before and after season when there is no one else there.
It is a pity that you are only accessible a small part of the island. You can't go for a nice walk.
