★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Open, fresh and clean look and feel at this library. Nice staff in the little, busy cafe in the back. A bit too noisy to really work when I was there, but still very nice. Good that the eduroam network is available as well so students have a proper internet connection (did not test the other open network). Cappuccino was good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Relaxed atmosphere, free wifi and open until 18:30, Fridays even until 9pm. Also in walking distance from the central station. For working with your own laptop it is great. I am yet to try the coffee and snacks though.
It costs 0.50EUR to use the toilet, and the kids corner can be be quite noisy at times.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice building with lots of potential. Reception offered very introduction so the library structure and available services was not explained. Children's section is quite limited and the English section. Maybe this was due to the Corona pandemic but for an international city sadly it was very underwhelming and uninspiring.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This library is very good. It is spacious, welcoming, peaceful and bright. There are many seats, couches, desks and chairs. The WiFi is free, there are many points for powering portable devices. I am not fluent in Dutch yet so I like accessing the English language books. There is a large selection of travel books in English from Rough Guide, Lonely Planet and Fordor etc.
There is a café inside selling beverages and food. There is another café underneath the library, owned by a private company.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Public library of Eindhoven. Huge collection of books, magazines, etc. Lots of places to sit, read, work, a kids section and a trendy café. Their collection of english books is quite limited though. Great location in the city center.
