★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In het begin tijdens onze besprekingen met de architect hadden wij een bedrag aangegeven dat we begroot hadden voor een verbouwing. Volgens de architect was dat realistisch en zou dat mogelijk zijn om de uitbouw te realiseren. Uiteindelijk nadat de architect al zijn werkzaamheden had gedaan, bleek uit de offertes van de aannemers, dat de uitbouw het dubbele (!) zou gaan kosten. Als er in het begin een betere inschatting door de architect was gedaan hadden we ons veel kosten
kunnen besparen. We waren dan geen 2000 euro kwijt geweest, om er achter te komen dat wij geen uitbouw laten maken.
 In the beginning during our discussions with the architect, we had indicated an amount that we had budgeted for a renovation. According to the architect, that was realistic and would be possible to realize the expansion. Eventually, after the architect had done all his work, the tenders from the contractors showed that the expansion would cost double (!). If a better estimate had been made by the architect in the beginning, we would have had a lot of costs
can save. We would not have lost 2000 euros in order to find out that we are not having an extension made.
