★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Het is een wandelpad....en wat er leuk aan is? Goeie vraag, je moet erlangs om bij de zee te komen. Andersom, je moet er langs om bij het bos te komen.
It's a hiking trail....and what's fun about it? Good question, you have to pass it to get to the sea. Conversely, you have to pass it to get to the forest.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Veel mensen krijgen bij verhalen en foto's over Ameland een glimlach op hun gezicht. Herinneringen en misschien een toekomstig bezoek zorgen voor dit gelukkige gevoel. Zo ook Epies wandelpad dat gaat door het Oostbos, het duingebied, over de duinen en langs het strand. Alles wat Ameland mooi maakt. Genieten van ruimte, wind en natuur. De looproute kun je gemakkelijk aanpassen aan eigen wensen/ mogelijkheden. Aanrader!
Many people get a smile on their face with stories and photos about Ameland. Memories and perhaps a future visit provide this happy feeling. This also applies to Epies walking path that goes through the Oostbos, the dune area, over the dunes and along the beach. Everything that makes Ameland beautiful. Enjoy space, wind and nature. You can easily adapt the walking route to your own wishes / possibilities. Recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Daar waar het bankje is.... Zoveel herinneringen. In 2010 zat ik daar nog op 9 augustus.....met mijn man. We namen afscheid... hij nam afscheid. 20 dagen later is hij gestorven...op 39 jarige leeftijd aan slokdarmkanker. Wij waren er dit jaar weer....Ameland is zo mooi....
Where the bench is .... So many memories. In 2010 I was still there on August 9 ..... with my husband. We said goodbye ... he said goodbye. He died 20 days later ... at the age of 39 from esophageal cancer. We were there again this year .... Ameland is so beautiful ....
