★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This happened a few years ago, Oct 13th 2016, to be precise.
But, when being asked by a friend for a queer-friendly hairdresser, this episode resurfaced.
The one time I went here, literally the very first day I had come out as queer, I went here (for the first time ever, and last time ever), to go from what I perceived as a horrible male hairstyle, I wanted something not-male.
I was told: "no, I am not going to do that; it won't look right".
I was too flabbergasted and embarrassed to get up and walk out. I wish I had. I felt horrible for my identity being refused by someone.
From this one experience, I would say, if you are LGBTQ+, do not go here.

I visited the salon to do a haircut for my 1 year old son. First, the chair they offered for my son to sit was full of hair and when told to give a cleaner chair, they used a hair dryer to blow the hair away, but even then there was so much hair left on the chair.
Second, they didn't cover my son's clothes with an apron (normally what is used to prevent hair falling on your clothes) and he was full of hair allover.
The lady who was doing the haircut was extremely impatient and was making faces when my son was moving his head. She should know that she was doing the haircut of a 1 year old.. what was she expecting?
The worst thing, she cut a bit of the skin around his neck with the trimmer and when he was crying she said "I cant do it anymore." Extremely unprofessional staff.
If you are so incapable of doing children's haircut you should tell the customers upfront rather than giving them such horrible experience. This was my first and last time. Never going back again!
