Adventure & Puzzles in the basement. Neat experience for groups. Bring your IQ with you.

Loads of fun, though the hardest room wasn't that particularly hard to solve with a group of seven. Still, worth a visit.

we went to two rooms in a row, the Patient X and the Project Venora (can't remember this name clearly). Patient X is very small, enough for only 3 ppl max (while they advertise good for 7 ppl) tricks r relatively ez, probably enough for first escaperoom goers and teenagers, and the whole game made us (six of us) feel it's so short and we didn't actually do anything yet then it's Over?? The Project room is said to be the most difficult one, while we found out it's not difficult it's just that games are designed so stupidly that u need to take time and solve some non~sense puzzles esp. u have to remember some uncommon knowledge, though they have clues to help u know but they put clues in a heavy big wooden box it doesn't make sense that ppl have to turn over the heavy box to find out a clue in a game while every second matters, this whole game made us feel that they just force to put some code-solving puzzles together without many connections or senses, not to mention that nothing high tech/smart was involved ( eg. we went to a room where ppl have to hold each other's hands so that electricity can go thru to open a gate) and yet they charge the same as other better ones lol I'm sry but 2 stars is the max i think this place is worth...

They renamed a room, so we almost did the same room again. They where helpfull and gave us another free one, but it was too easy in terms of logic. The only things that really took time where like searching etc.

There are four rooms, with different themes. You have to get out in 60 minutes. The threshold for getting in the wall of fame is 50 minutes. We had an awesome room. We did make it, barely. :)

Escaperoom is a bit old. Many gadgets do no longer function as they should. E.g. cables and plugs to make electrical contacts fail. Airguns to shoot targets malfunction and this makes it rather difficult to finalize the task (or sort of impossible). Idea behind it is nice but unfortunately it does need serious maintenance. Also many of the puzzles are skil or chance dependent rather than mind puzzles. Not something one expects in an escape room.

It was a wonderful experience! The puzzles are quite intriguing and challenging. Apart from a constant element of surprise, there is a scary element to it as well which makes things even more interesting. The staff is super friendly! They take a picture of you after you're done and you get a digital as well as a hard copy of it right away before you leave. Although an ideal group should be 4-5 people, you can still have loads of fun here if you're just 2. There are 4 themes in total and I'm definitely going again for the remaining 3! I recommend Escaping Utrecht.
