De bijzondere provincie Overijssel heeft verrassend veel te bieden als vakantiebestemming. De provincie kent namelijk een fantastische combinatie van natuur en cultuur, van Hanzesteden tot het platteland. Natuurliefhebbers zullen hier helemaal op hun plek zijn. Neem bijvoorbeeld de Sallandse Heuvelrug, een heuvelachtig nationaal park waar heide, bossen en zandvlaktes elkaar afwisselen. Of de Weerribben-Wieben, het grootste laagveenmoeras van Noordwest-Europa. Hier zul je verrast worden door de talloze planten- en dierensoorten. Ook de vele rivieren typeren het Overijsselse landschap. In de charmante Hanzesteden als Deventer, Zwolle en Hattem is de glorie van de middeleeuwen nog steeds te herkennen aan de indrukwekkende stadsmuren en authentieke charme. Heb je een passie voor lekker eten? Dan zullen je smaakpapillen gestreeld worden in de Hanzesteden bij de vele gewaardeerde restaurants.

β β β β β In winter it's a nice place to stay at, because it is calm and not to crowded. In summer it's not that relaxing, when there are all the families with their kids and the stagnant water attracts a whole lot of mosquitoes. The price for a bungalow is totally fair. Plenty of things to discover in the surroundings.

β β β β β That's a really nice place. Calm, quiet - perfect for relaxation. It's not that far away both from Amsterdam and Rotterdam therefore if you would like to stay in beautiful, cosy and nice house and at the same time be able to do some sight seeing, that's a perfect spot for you. If only it was a bit less expensive, it'd be ideal.

β β β β β The deluxe chalet was really comfortable and reasonably priced for the size and furnishings. Wifi was very slow at times. Three decent film channels in english. The laundry facility is terrible, only two machines and you need tokens from reception, it's also quite expensive, with hindsight I would have paid a few euros more for a wash dry and fold service at a wasserette. Surprisingly for a resort this size reception hours are limited to office hours.

β β β β β Houses are clean and very well equipped.
Very good location, quit and away from the heavy traffic, though it takes no time to reach the nearest country road.
Facilities are rich and well organized.
And most important, very friendly staff.
Two negative points (IMHO)
1- WiFi is very bad and slow.
2- You pay more for some houses expecting to get a good location and view (for example, on water, as the photos show)... but it's not the case... there is no possibility for such an option during reservation steps. So unless you know which house you want, you have to pay and wait for what they will give you when you arrive.
Even when you know, all what you can do is to write the number as (Preference) in your booking and wait for the Answer (You pay extra 20β¬ when your choice is available), do not forget (you cannot cancel your booking once you paid, otherwise the cancellation costs are due).
In my case, I paid 50β¬ more as our friends paid to get a house with no good view at all and beside the garbage containers!!.

β β β β β Went here for a long easter weekend. The stay was fine. The house had a big pile of trash and uncleaned showers on arrival. Next to that one of the parks' staff members was theatening to call the "really big" security officer for anything small. Also, we paid for two cars. Naturally, we tried to get in two cars into the park, but we got yelled at for doing so. Really poor welcoming and service.

β β β β β Reception/entrance is not suitable for many guests arriving at once. Had to wait in the car on a narrow road with a crying baby in the car for about 1,5 hours. Then when we finally arrived at the cabin, nothing was cleaned. Dirty toilet, dirty shower. We even had to clean the (paid for!) child seat ourselves. Bonus: Walls and ceilings are covered with dead flies and mosquitos.

β β β β β Although the first impression was good, the second one definitely was not that convincing.
Obviously the room service forgot to clean at least one entire room. There were beer lids and ear tips all over one bedroom.
In all bedrooms the walls were very dirty. There were crushed flies and spiders and God knows what else.
In the kitchen cabinet there was a big hole that someone tried to hide with some kind of fire blanket (obviously not with much effort at all). Inside of some of the cabinets there was a heavy dust layer.
At the sealing of one of the showers there was some kind of mould (or at least something black).
Also some of the former visitors seem to have tried to use the toilet brush while there was still toilet paper inside the toilet itself.
Also the cutlery wasn't well cleaned.
Maybe we just had bad luck with our house but for the money I would expect at least a proper cleaning.

β β β β β This was our first time in this area we totally loved the house it was exactly what we ordered, the staff was very friendly as were some of the people who lived there year round.
Your close to most local activities and main cities Amsterdam 30 minutes, Alkmaar 20 minutes and Schiphol is an easy commute.
All in all definitely something to consider as a group or family.
