★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leuke bakkerij, mooie lekkere ambachtelijke producten en ontzettend vriendelijk geholpen. We kwamen van de andere kant van het land om de vlaaien te halen en wilden ook nog iets lekkers om te snoepen onderweg en kregen dit toen gratis toe. Ik kan deze bakkerij ontzettend aanbevelen!
Nice bakery, beautiful tasty artisan products and very friendly help. We came from the other side of the country to get the pies and also wanted something tasty to eat on the way and then got this for free. I can highly recommend this bakery!

Ruime keuze en vriendelijk geholpen!
Als ik weer een keer in de buurt ben, dan rij ik zeker weer langs.
And if you are in Limburg anyway, you can of course get the best flan from the real baker Ewals!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vanuit Drenthe een paar dagen in Venlo geweest. Voor thuis een paar vlaaien bij Ewals opgehaald. Smaak is geweldig en ziet er heerlijk uit. Pruim, appel, kersen of abrikoos: allemaal top. Genieten dus.
Been to Venlo for a few days from Drenthe. Picked up a few pies from Ewals for home. Taste is great and looks delicious. Plum, apple, cherry or apricot: all top. So enjoy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ "Vroeger" had elk dorp wel een goede vlaaien bakker. Die tijd is helaas voorbij. Ewals is er nog van de oude generatie. Zij hebben eenvoudigweg de beste vlaai. Punt. Dat merk je ook, als je niet van tevoren bestelt kun je wel eens pech hebben. In de zaak is het ook altijd druk. Goedkoop is het niet, maar hier betaal ik er graag voor.
"In the past" every village had a good pie baker. That time is unfortunately over. Ewals is still there from the old generation. They simply have the best flan. Point. You will also notice that if you do not order in advance you may be out of luck. The store is always busy too. It's not cheap, but I'm happy to pay for it.
