★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A typical Dutch pancake restaurant. It's clearly shown on road signs so it seems this is a famous local venue. No idea why, though.
The outside playground consists of a small bouncy castle and some equally small monkey bars. Apparently there was some more inside but it was to hot for that.
The food; my son had one of the 90 kinds of pancake and reported it was OK, but he is not a fussy eater. My daughter had a stack of poffertjes (mini pancakes) and she was happy too.
My wife tries to cut down on carbohydrates; she asked to have the fries with her schnitzel replaces with extra salad. What she got was obviously prepared earlier and dried out, something the staff denied. Still, the cucumber looked like old card board. They made her a new salad and indeed, that was much better.
I went for The Burger (double + cheese + bacon) and that was OK too, but too salty.
So, that is my basic impression: OK. The food is adequate and so is the service but I will have forgotten about this place by next month.
TD;DR: OK for a quick bite but don't expect too much.
