“Bij Family Axel vind je het lekkerste en gezelligste eethuis van Nederland gevestigd in de voormalige kerk en pastorie. Wij zijn er voor het hele gezin, kinderen kunnen heerlijk spelen in onze binnenspeeltuin. Bij mooi weer is het heerlijk vertoeven in de serre of het ruime terras.

i cant calieve the good reviews.It just shows how bad and bland the durch food is.Also how easy it is to please the Dutch people

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very popular place to eat in Axel, with a helpful and friendly staff.
When we arrived for lunch at one thirty in the afternoon on a weekday, the place was packed. We were given seats in a waiting area where we ordered something to drink until a table became available.
The building is an old church and the restaurant is cleverly designed in it. The food choices are quite varied, but don't expect 'regular' bread (except for the burgers). Everything comes in flatbread or 'oerbrood.' You can customize your order.
A kids menu with regular snacks is available. Also for kids, there is a play area and they can get crayons and a coloring page at the table to keep themselves busy.
There is a large outdoor dining area, but the weather wasn't very nice, so it was empty when we were there.
The place also has a snackbar area, if you just want take-out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the perfect place to go to for plenty of occasions, you want a quick snack? They got it, you want to sit down with the family? You can! On a date and need good atmosphere and food they've got it too!
We order here almost once a week they have amazing food! Would definitely recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect family restaurant, nice ambience, absolutely amazing decor. Kids have dedicated play area. Good food with vegetarian options as well. Staff is very friendly.
Tip: good place to spend summer evening on Terrace or inside of restaurant.
