★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waiting times are ridiculous! Waiting room full of people and only one person at the cash register while others are simply strolling at the back. Every time I have to pick up my prescription, I am loosing at least 40 minutes waiting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Expect that the minimum waiting time is around 30 minutes on any given day or time. too less space for all the people waiting in line. besides that professional and friendly staff, and they deliver medication on time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredibly rude and unhelpful staff. Beyond what you would expect for regular bad customer service, let alone a place that is supposed to help people get better. The pharmacist refused to fill my prescription for anxiety medication because she was “busy”.
DO NOT COME HERE.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Go to Apotheke Koek near Vijzelgracht instead. Even if it’s a 15 minute walk, you’ll be finished and back home faster than this place. This pharmacy had to have genuinely been one of the worst in-store experiences I’ve had in Amsterdam. Slow, rude and uncaring staff are the norm. It has nothing to do with summer holidays either. I could have written this months ago. My doctor (in the neighborhood) even asked me which pharmacy I use, to which I requested their recommendation. His laughing answer was “as long as you don’t go to the one on Ferdinand Bolstraat, you should be fine”.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been going to this pharmacy for about 2 years now, and never had any issues. Regarding the many negative reviews by other users, keep in mind that De Pijp is expat town. In other words, it's mostly Americans who never got used to how service works in Europe vs. the US.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waited 30 odd minutes just for them to realise they didn’t have the medication and tell me I should come back the next day. This second visit went marginally better, I only had to wait ~25 minutes for them to service the two customers before me. After deciding not to go back there, my girlfriend falling ill and having her prescription sent there, I had the pleasure of waiting about 40 minutes to actually receive the medication because the staff had a very funny private conversation which seemed to require more attention than the customers.
