What to do in and around Alkmaar
When you start exploring the Alkmaar city from our shop, you will cycle along the canals of the city through the old towncenter. In the area of Alkmaar you will find Broek op Langedijk, famous for it’ Broeker Veiling: the authentic vegetable auction, where the auction clock is still going. The ‘Schermer’ is famous to the many mills. And along the coastline of North Holland, there a very nice olsd villages like Bakkum, Egmond, Bergen aan Zee, Camperduin and Petten. Pay a visit to the famous shrine of ‘Onze Lieve Vrouwe ter Nood’ in Heiloo, a pilgrimage place. There is great infrastructure cyclists which will lead through the forests and dunes. Spend some time & relax at the beach. On thursday it is nice to visit ‘Westfriese’ markt at the village Schagen. If you like to make a day long trip or make this by e-Bike follow the beautiful ‘Westfriese omringdijk’ which goes by many places to visit before you return to Alkmaar.
Along the many routes there are many nice opportunities to enjoy a snack or use our picnic service!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Afgelopen weekend hebben we met een stel vrienden 7 e-bikes gehuurd. Op Europarc De Rijp werden de fietsen vrijdagavond bezorgd en zondagavond werden de fietsen weer opgehaald. Ideaal! De fietsen zijn helemaal prima en zonder enige moeite fiets je 28 km/h. We hebben een rondje De Rijp - Zaanse Schans - Volendam - Purmerend - De Rijp gefietst. De hele ronde lukt zonder de accu bij te laden.
Iedereen was zeer tevreden over de fietsen en de haal- en brengservice.
Last weekend we rented 7 e-bikes with a bunch of friends. The bicycles were delivered to Europarc De Rijp on Friday evening and the bicycles were picked up again on Sunday evening. Ideal! The bikes are completely fine and you can cycle 28 km / h without any difficulty. We cycled a round of De Rijp - Zaanse Schans - Volendam - Purmerend - De Rijp. The entire round succeeds without recharging the battery.
Everyone was very satisfied with the bikes and the collection and delivery service.
