About Fiversburch
Van oudsher vormt de Villa het hart van het park. Het echtpaar Looxma-Ypeij bouwt in 1844 de neoclassicistische Villa Vijversburg als buitenverblijf. In 1862 wordt de Villa ingrijpend door de familie verbouwd. Er verrees een majestueus groot huis, waarvan later de helft weer is afgebroken. De Villa is sinds 1892 eigendom van de Stichting op Toutenburg.
De Japanse architect Junya Ishigami en architecte Marieke Kums uit Rotterdam hebben in 2014 de plannen gemaakt voor de restauratie. Daarbij is ook het bouwtechnisch adviesbureau ABT betrokken en de Rijksdienst voor het Cultureel Erfgoed. De restauratie droeg bij aan het behoud van het monument. De restauratie was daarnaast gericht op het openstellen van de Villa voor het publiek. De voorste twee kamers, de “regentenkamer” en de “salonkamer”, hebben historische waarde. De allure van weleer is teruggebracht door de aanwezige elementen te restaureren. Beide kamers zijn geschikt gemaakt als vergader- en trouwlocatie.

There are other places that are way nicer than this & without being charged.
Plus it is very busy on weekend.
