Het Flessenscheepjes Museum bevat op dit moment ‘s werelds meest omvangrijke collectie. De grote verscheidenheid van flessen en scheepstypen is uniek. Meer dan 1000 exemplaren, o.a. uit de vroege zeilvaart en de V.O.C.-tijd. maar ook van de visserij, de walvisvaart en het reddingswezen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice museum with boats and other objects in bottles. We had the luck that the president of the Dutch club was our guide on the day. The video upstairs was interesting. There was also a temporary international exhibition, including some pieces from Japan. Good place to spend half an hour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cute, but more of a novelty. Wouldn't have gone here if I didn't have the museum card. Outside the museum is a sign with a picture of what's inside. Best to just look at the picture and keep walking. Unless you really like tiny boats in bottles.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very, very interesting museum. I really recommend to visit it. They have really big collections of ships in a bottles. Also ladies who work here are very nice! So spend some time at visit this awesome museum in such a nice city!

The museum itself has a large collection of miniature model of ships inside glass bottles. There is also a very interesting video explaining how the artefacts are made - a lot of patience and skill in the making process.
The museum is a good place to spend some time and admire the large variety of "ships in bottles"
