Stayed at the hotel in June 2017. Service was excellent. Room was tastefully styled and clean. Only disadvantage was the lack of air conditioning: since the hotel is situated next to a busy road, leaving the windows open on a hot evening meant that we had trouble falling asleep. The restaurant also had great service and offered a varied menu (also for children).

This is a relatively good hotel which has an extremely old fashioned layout & design. The hotel actually has an old style lift which is something unusual compared to many hotels today. The good points here are that the staff were extremely friendly and the food was very good. However this isn't the most modern and attractive style of hotel, so depending on your personal taste this may not be the best choice for you.

Nice surroundings, nice place, both outside and inside. During the night three very drunk guests ran around both outside and on all the different floors, knocking on doors and walls while singing drinking-songs. Since there are NO STAFF DURING THE NIGHT this was allowed to continue for many hours. When we mentioned it to the staff at breakfast we were very rudely cut off with an β€œYES WE KNOW. Other guests told us, so we know.” They then proceeded to mix up our breakfast order, bringing us different plates of food that we didn’t order, taking it away and bringing it out again, cold. After leaving two of us with food and one of us without any for 20-ish minutes we just started eating what was there. The staff then arrived again and attempted to take away the food we had started eating. After additional waiting and talking with three different waiters we were finally given.... a hard boiled egg! So we all had a bit to eat when we divided it between us. As we left they told us we did not have to pay for he breakfast and offered us a bottle of wine, which we declined. We really just wanted our food. All in all it was a bit like Faulty Towers without the charm of John Cleese, or maybe just moody teenagers playing hotel.

The hotel is quite good the rooms are nice not that spacious though. The bathroom is clean and small the pressure on the showerhead is not that great so you actually have to stand against the wall to catch some drops, while doing this the shower curtain keeps blowing against your body. The towels are really really small. The staff however is outstanding. They are really friendly and eager to please. Also the food is good. Would give it 3,5 stars if I could but that's not the case and 4 stars is just too much.

The time to restore this whole hotel, is arrived!!! The carpets in the floors are incredible dirty! The rooms are 70th style and also not clean! The windows on the road side are not able to bring the necessary silence for to spend a comfortable sleep! It's impossible to shut the heating because coming from the floor and in the rooms there's no temperature controller. The very simple self service breakfast is so far from the tables that this is the first "day jogging"! Last; the prices are too high for such a service!

A nice hotel at the edge of a nice city. Good breakfasts with tasty pancakes, quiet neighborhood close to interesting points like Het Loo and Apenheul, nice old-fashioned style. However, there were several small things that didn't allow me to give 5 stars that it probably deserves. A part of the quiet neighborhood is a cemetery, and there are no nearby shops or restaurants. Ordering delivery is forbidden, by the way, - the guests should dine at the hotel restaurant. Many peeves I had about the bathroom, which is especially unexpected, since it is quite large. But some planning choices were inexplicable: cloth shower curtain? towel rail under the sink, between the toilet and trash bin? Still, those are small things in a generally nice picture. My stay was nice, and walking in the nearby area was really pleasant.

Booked a room for my husband, myself, and our two dogs and received a phone call from management stating they no longer take dogs so I cancelled the room over the phone. I then received a reminder email about the room which I replied to stating it had been cancelled. I am now receiving weekly emails asking for the room fee due to not showing up which they are now threatening to take to debt collection. Every time I receive an email I call and someone says they will look into it but nothing is done. I have also emailed both Fletcher HQ and the Apeldoorn hotel but no one responds. Basically you're harassing me for a room I cancelled at your request.
