★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice hotel in a really cosy village. However the room lacked air conditioning which was a problem in the warm summer nights. The hotel is also located adjacent to a church which rings it's bells throughout the night, so sleeping was difficult

The restaurant however, has absolutely delicious food. All 3 courses surprised us on how rich it tasted. Their chef definitely knows his stuff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My experience with Fletcher hotels has always been the same; it's fine for staying a night. The beds are comfortable, the restaurants are ok. The rooms and buildings are almost always pretty dated and poorly maintained.

Stayed there for the weekend of 24/25-11, general condition of this hotel is outdated and bad maintained. Bathroom tiles are re-painted (?) years ago and paint is coming of. Room and bathroom were not clean, hairs in dirty bath, outdated dirty toilet with yellow left overs. Water taps not working hot and cold cannot be properly mixed in both sink as shower (bath) Matrasses and bed linnen in bad state. We had a dinner with a total of +/- 15 persons and had to wait 45 minutes.....when the waitress came in to tell that one of the ordered main courses was not available. No table attendance resulted in customers refilling glasses on their own (!). We found dinner left overs during next day breakfast at dining floor, that tells a lot about general housekeeping.
I see somebody below mentioning the Hilton? Even if my standard is not Hilton, this hotel is not clean and beyond Dutch minimum standards, even paid EUR 212, which I had to pay fully upfront. I complained at checkout and the receptionist almost started crying, asking me to please tell the management about our complaints.
Fletcher group should take action on this!
