★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst service I have ever experienced in my life. They didn't replace the towel for our breakfast so we did, the bathroom wasn't that clean and they did not change the towels. Horrible. Anyway the hotel is beautiful

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were rudely discriminated at this hotel! Because we were a family of 4 with 2 kids we were given a terrible room and did not receive the cot we had requested. Staff was not helpful and unwilling to return the extra charges for the cot we did not receive. Do not recommend for families on holiday!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Played loud music during carnival, which is really bad news if you plan to wake up early. Also not serving breakfast before 8:30 is unacceptable in my opinion. This two things and room cleaning are basically the only things I look for in an hotel for work.
Room is big, nice and tidy, I would have appreciated a mini bar.
Tldr not recommended for work, but is probably OK for the rest

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very bad room.. lot of mold in the bathroom, shower curtain was extremely dirty and the noise in the hallway is no fun! Our neighbors woke us around midnight and early morning.
I would not recommend to stay here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Meh. It's not as nice as we hoped. It's clean and comfortable in terms of beds, but the bathroom was just... old. Shower curtains on cheap rods, no bath, ugly tiles... The rooms were fine, the bathroom was just. Cramped. Like they renovated but forgot the bathrooms

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is very nice, the area is charming. Good that is has its own parking lot. The restaurant is great.
I had to problems with the place.
One, the beds were to soft for me, my back hurt because of it. It's not the fault of the hotel, I'm over 100 kg, for me hard mattres is better.
Two, the accomodation cost was covered by my company prepaid, but after my stay, I had to pay 8 EUR as tax. I could not reimburse this money, because I got no invoice or any paper about it. This should have been incuded or added to the cost prepaid.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice, clean, relatively cheap place for a couple of nights. Relatively close to the centre of Vlijmen. Room was pretty basic, but nice all the same. The restaurant served really nice food. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The only downside was that the room wasn't air-conditioned, but this was only because we happened to be there during a freakishly hot period. They had provided an additional fan, which is about as much as could be expected, really. There were also no tea & coffee making facilities in the room, but that's not too uncommon in mainland Europe.
Would certainly come again.
