Kaars Sijpesteijn, producent van zeildoek voor de fabricage van Linoleum. Het waren de zeildoekweverijen die Krommenie van de 17e tot de 20e eeuw op de kaart zette.
Forbo Coral, also known among Krommenians as the 'Tufton' after 'tufted' carpet. Original factory started as Weverij P.H. Candle Sijpesteijn, producer of tarpaulin for the manufacture of Linoleum. It was the sailcloth weaving mills that put Krommenie on the map from the 17th to the 20th century.
