When you stand in the kitchen 23:00, cannot fight the temptation of just another bite of their spelt sour dough, you know then: waiting in the rain/wind, queuing for their bread is worth the effort.

Actually the best bakery in Amsterdam. Fresh bread and baguette with amazing flavour. Croissant and patisserie are perfect for breakfast. Hi recommend the Cruffin. It's a croissant in muffin shape and delicious cream or chocolate inside. It worth a check if you are in love with bakery.

A popular bakery in the neighborhood and many of the breads and pastries looked delicious. We tried two pastries and enjoyed the red currant one the most. Not the best we have ever had but very good nonetheless. These were definitely not cheap but I understand the sourcing and the process is all top notch. Overall, the prices make me hesitant to highly recommend but it was good to try at least once. The line outside does move fairly fast as well.

Real good bakeries are (coming) to town. Fort Negen is such a bakery. Real good craftmenship, croissants with enough butter, baguettes like the french. What's not to love. Real fast and super friendly service as well. Be on time ... there can be a line ... :-) I think .... best baguette in town ... Saturday 12.00 hot from the oven ... :-)

Amazing croissants, fort negen lives up to expectations! The staff is friendly, the coffee is more of the acidy type. My biggest problem with them is I never know which to pick as their choices are all soooo good!!!!

This bakery has a beautiful range of sourdough breads and pastries. Their bread is simply to die for and so are their croissants. The price is a bit high compared with other bakeries but it’s worth the money.

Such an amazing bakery, even though it’s a 30 minutes bike ride, we still go there quite often on a Saturday to get these awesome sourdoughs, and special treats in the weekends such as cruffin, tompouce. The pain au chocolat is a must have ? so so good

Maybe the best bakery in Amsterdam. Bread is absolutely 10/10 and pastries are also amazing. If you read some reviews saying that it's expensive it's because people in general don't understand the concept of "quality-price ratio" or "value for money". For me, their breads and pastries are very well priced because you are eating the best of the best.
