About Forum Groningen

Tijdens festivals en events en in of bij onze locaties maken we vaak film- en/of foto-opnames. We gebruiken deze foto’s voor ons eigen archief, het promoten van het desbetreffende of een gelijksoortig evenement en we delen de foto’s achteraf graag met alle bezoekers via sociale media en/of via een directe mail. Dit doen we op grondslag van gerechtvaardigd belang. Onze fotograaf is altijd duidelijk herkenbaar aanwezig. Heb je er bezwaar tegen dat er foto’s worden gemaakt, dan kun je dit aangeven bij onze fotograaf. We zullen je dan niet in beeld brengen. Uiteraard kun je achteraf bezwaar aantekenen tegen het gebruik van je foto.
Voor kinderen tot 16 jaar geldt dat wij ze in beeld kunnen brengen, tenzij ze een 'niet fotograferen'-button dragen. Deze zijn verkrijgbaar aan de informatiebalie. Bij jeugdevenementen zetten wij een bord neer om je aan deze werkwijze te herinneren.
Mocht je, ondanks onze zorgvuldigheid, achteraf toch bezwaar hebben tegen een foto waar je zelf of je kind herkenbaar op staat? Neem dan contact met ons op via onderstaand mailadres. Wij zullen vervolgens de foto waar mogelijk verwijderen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The view from the rooftop was awesome. We did not visit the library but could see it from the escalators and it looked really nice, the atmosphere was good. We visited the Game On exposition which was great fun. We got to try a bunch of different videogames from 1971 to today.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the coolest place in Groningen where you could play, read, watch, shop, relax while sipping a cup of coffee in a very convenience atmosphere ! Don't forget that you could enjoy the city view from its rooftop, too!

The exebotion 50years Game is incredible. I spend consecutive hours there and I'm absolutely going again sometime. I would really recommend this for if you are just in Groningen for a short time. This exhibition lasts till March but don't procrastinate go and see it. I loved it so much.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ People in Groningen are so lucky to have Forum. The building itself is an attraction. Located in the center of the city. Entrance is for free and there is so much to do. From the top of the building there is stunning 360° view of the city.
Inside the building there are restaurants, café, impressive library, cinema, exhibitions, areas for studying, reading magazines, interactive play space for the youngest, chilling place.....
It offers fun for everyone from young to old.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's an amazing facility. At first I couldn't figure out whether it was a public library or a convention center or some monumental landmark. Turns out it's all of those. From the to most floor, you can view the city of Groningen. There is ample space for self study, work, research or just hang around. Would recommend this place a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had read about the Forum online (excellent views over the city) and wanted to see how far out we could view the city. Thankfully the evening we went, it was clear and sunny, yet windy. We did not do any shopping, but merely rode the escalators up to the top. Riding the escalators to the top floor gives a great view of the interior of the forum below. The second time we went to the Forum was for Storyworld Museum and Game On exhibition, both are interactive, with Game On, much more so. We have Museumkaarts, Storyworld required that we book online and allowed us entry with the card (kaart). They offer a combi-deal with the museum card for 5 euros extra for Game On, and its worth it. We had so much fun!… played arcade games and computer games. After our time inside the exhibitions we sat at two chairs (they have many to choose from on the different levels) to enjoy the view and discuss our next move of our Groningen visit. Entering the Forum is free and worth the visit, especially for a view over the city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful space. The ride up on the escalators is well worth it. The restaurant on the top floor was beautiful. It was very pleasant walking around the rooftop, and the view was spectacular!
