Door de opbouwende feedback van de docenten heb ik ook meer zelfvertrouwen gekregen. En ik denk altijd met plezier terug aan de (studenten)administratie, zeer behulpzaam en gezellig. A great school and solid education. I learned a lot and got to know new people. The constructive feedback from the teachers has also given me more self-confidence. And I always think back with pleasure to the (student) administration, very helpful and pleasant.
S	Simohamed Madhar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Een tijdje geleden heb ik aangemeld voor de opleiding algemene tolk techniek bij ITV Hogeschool voor Tolken en Vertalen. Nadat ik de eerste les had gevold, kon ik de cursus niet continueren door medische omstandigheden. Ik had namelijk een ongeluk gehad. Ik heb netjes ITV Hogeschool meegedeeld dat ik door ziekte de opleiding niet kan afronden en dat ik daardoor moet stoppen, helaas krijg ik als reactie dat ik de volledige factuur prijs moet betalen terwijl ziek zijn is overmacht, niemand kiest daarvoor kennelijk. Ik heb ook aangegeven dat ik bereid ben om 1/3 van de opleiding factuur als aanbetaling te doen en de 2/3 betalen als de volgende cursus gaat beginnen en natuurlijk als ik beter word, helaas werd deze voorstel ook geweigerd. Ik vind het onterecht dat ik onlangs met de opleiding was gestopt vanwege overmacht en toch duizenden euro’s moet betalen voor de lessen die ik niet heb gevolgd. Ik was toen eerlijk gezegd van plan om naar de rechter te stappen maar door ziekte ben ik van afgezien. Ik moest eerste gaan herstellen. Er zijn ook veel ander van die soort instituten (zoals NCOI en LOI) eerder door de rechter voor op de vingers zijn getikt, maar toch blijven ze hoge bedragen eisen. Ik moest veel medische onderzoek uitvoeren in het ziekenhuis en uiteindelijk 6 maanden nodig gehad voor herstel met fysiotherapie onder ander. Ik vind dat een opleiding een zogenoemde 'overeenkomst tot opdracht'. Die overeenkomst moet elk moment opgezegd kunnen worden, zonder beperkende voorwaarden. Leerlingen of studenten zijn volgens het consumentenrecht alleen verplicht om te betalen voor het deel van de opleiding dat ze al gedaan hebben én een 'redelijk deel' van de kosten zoals bijvoorbeeld lesmateriaal dat al verstuurd is. Heeft wel zin om nog naar de rechter te stappen? Misschien wel. A while ago I registered for the general interpreter technique course at ITV Interpretation and Translation School. After completing the first lesson, I was unable to continue the course due to medical conditions. Because I had an accident. I have neatly informed ITV Hogeschool that I am unable to complete the course due to illness and that I have to stop because of this, unfortunately I get the response that I have to pay the full invoice price while being sick is force majeure, apparently nobody chooses this. I have also indicated that I am willing to pay 1/3 of the training invoice as a deposit and pay 2/3 when the next course starts and of course when I get better, unfortunately this proposal was also refused. I think it is unjustified that I recently quit training because of force majeure and still have to pay thousands of euros for the lessons I did not take. At the time, I honestly intended to go to court, but due to illness I have waived it. I had to recover first. There are also many other institutions of this type (such as NCOI and LOI) that have previously been tapped by the judge, but they still demand high amounts. I had to do a lot of medical research in the hospital and eventually needed 6 months for recovery with physiotherapy, among other things. I believe that a study program is a so-called 'assignment contract'. It must be possible to terminate that agreement at any time, without restrictive conditions. Under consumer law, pupils or students are only obliged to pay for the part of the training they have already completed and a 'reasonable part' of the costs, such as teaching materials that have already been sent. Does it make sense to go to court? Maybe.
O	Omni o on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Like the other guy mentioned... Due to COVID i couldn't pay the remaining course money and now I am being rudely treated and forced for THOUSAND euros.. I too think that this is modern theft this is very unacceptable. I mentioned to them that i am willing to pay a FULL course price when the next one starts but they are forcing me to pay the previous one when i don't have money. Repeatedly reminding me with lawyer action and dates... scaring me into paying it. Highly suggest to AVOID them as all they want is your money. There are better interpreting courses out there such as the one in Zaandam.
