★ ★ ★ ★ ★ De kerk in Ommel heeft de tweede Wereldoorlog niet overleefd. Na de oorlog, begin jaren 60, werd deze nieuwe kerk gebouwd. Ommel is al sinds de 15e eeuw een pelgrimsoord waar Maria verering plaatsvond. De meimaand is de de belangrijkste maand voor dit Mariabedevaartsoord. Er vindt dan ook een processie plaats.
The church in Ommel did not survive the Second World War. After the war, in the early 1960s, this new church was built. Ommel has been a place of pilgrimage since the 15th century where Maria worship took place. The month of May is the most important month for this Marian pilgrimage site. There is also a procession.
