My name is Francesca Eleuteri. I am an Italian and English speaking Cognitive Psychologist in The Netherlands and researcher in clinical neuropsychology. I am registered Psycholoog NIP. I am a PhD candidate at the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour in Nijmegen (Radboud University) investigating the visuoperceptive syndrome known as hemineglect in relation with executive functions in brain-damaged patients. My approach is tailored to the individual and highly up to date to the current research findings in clinical psychology and neuropsychology. I provide Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Cognitive Enhancement Therapy; I am a member of the Dutch Institute for Psychologists (NIP), the Dutch Institute for Neuropsychology (NVN), Stichting Kwaliteitsregister Jeugd (SKJ), Landeljke Vereniging POH-GGZ and of the American Psychological Association (APA). I am the first certified provider as Mental Disabilities Examiner for The Netherlands by VES (Veterans Evaluation Services). I have been living in the Netherlands since 2015 and perfectly understand the expat life. I graduated in Clinical Psychology and Promotion of Well-being from the Lumsa University in Rome, I studied Clinical Neuropsychology at VU University in Amsterdam, and I have a background in Fine Arts. I did clinical and research internships in Cognitive Neuropsychology at Lumsa University, Gemelli University Hospital and S.Lucia Foundation in Rome. I am currently involved in several research projects in collaboration with Prof. Lisa Arduino from Lumsa University and Dr Ashok Jansari from Goldsmiths University London. The research I am currently involved is: “Sex differences in tobacco withdrawal: effects on executive functioning”, "Sex differences in executive functioning: neuronal correlates in young adults", "The role of executive functions in exploratory guidance", "Effects of current and future relevance on perceptual selection".
