★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was staying for one night in nearby Hotel de Prince and went for a short wander when I discovered Funkenstein on March 20th 2019.
It was about 830pm on a Wednesday night. The bar was not too busy and I was greeted by a friendly member of staff. He helped me through the menu board which was in Dutch. I had a very tasty BBQ burger and chips washed down by 2 glasses of shandy. Very tasty.
There was a lovely old school atmosphere in the place and it was not too busy. Staff were excellent and I really enjoyed my food. I recommend the apple caramel dessert. All in it was €25. Try it!
