Mijn opleiding Fysiotherapie aan HIVEK in Brussel heb ik in 1996 afgerond. Als fysiotherapeut werk ik, na 7 jaar België en 5 jaar Duitsland, sinds 2008 in Maastricht. Het ontroert mij nog steeds na zoveel jaren om te zien hoe mensen reageren als ik hun pijn begrijp en samen een manier kunnen vinden om het te verhelpen.
Ümit is geregistreerd bij het Centraal Kwaliteitsregister Fysiotherapie. Tevens is hij lid van de beroepsvereniging KNGF, NVFL, aspirant NVFS en Fy’Net.
