★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Na enig aandringen besloot de oncologisch fysiotherapeute dan toch maar een poging te wagen de machtigingsaanvraag zelf digitaal bij de verzekeringsmaatschappij in te dienen. In eerste instantie gaf ze me een formulier mee om de aanvraag grotendeels zelf in te vullen. Hiervoor zou ik een tweede keer bij het ziekenhuis langs moeten voor een handtekening. De ondertekende verwijzing van het ziekenhuis had ik haar de tweede behandeling namelijk al gegeven. Om een aanvraag digitaal in te kunnen dienen moesten eerst nog codes bij de verzekeringsmaatschappij worden aangevraagd. Toen ik na twee weken wachten nog steeds geen bericht had ontvangen belde ik de verzekeringsmaatschappij en bleek de aanvraag niet ontvangen te zijn. Inmiddels was mijn behandeltraject na 20 behandelingen al 4 weken onderbroken en daar konden nog twee weken bij komen na een nieuwe poging de aanvraag digitaal in te dienen. Ik mailde de fysiotherapeute dat mijn conditie verslechterde en mijn klachten toenamen. Ook stelde ik haar de vraag waarom de machtiging zo laat pas was ingediend waardoor ik al 4 weken niet behandeld kon worden. Hierop werd inhoudelijk niet ingegaan noch voorgesteld de paar resterende behandelingen uit mijn aanvullende verzekering hiervoor te gebruiken.
After some insistence, the cancer physiotherapist decided to make an attempt to submit the authorization request digitally to the insurance company. At first she gave me a form to largely complete the application herself. For this I would have to visit the hospital a second time for a signature. The signed referral from the hospital had already given her the second treatment. To be able to submit a digital application, codes had to be requested from the insurance company. When after two weeks of waiting I still had not received a message, I called the insurance company and it turned out that the application had not been received. In the meantime my treatment process had already been interrupted for 4 weeks after 20 treatments, and another two weeks were added after a new attempt to submit the application digitally. I emailed the physiotherapist that my condition deteriorated and my complaints increased. I also asked her why the authorization had been submitted so late, which meant I could not be treated for 4 weeks. This was neither discussed in substance nor proposed to use the few remaining treatments from my supplementary insurance for this.
