Great Atmosphere, excellent for families with children even wit "De Daltons" a charter yacht advertised by Own Ship and owned by Ruud Wüstefeld a person who act with his agent in very crookest manner to get their yachts chartered. Such people damage the best business. and the holiday of everyone.

Beautiful (but crowded) place to eat or just have a drink along the water. Kids swimming and jumping from the bridge. When the summer is here, that's a place to go to chill out. Possible to reserve for big groups as well (reception, business events, ...)

Beautiful! Well worth the cycle ride from the city of Groningen. The windmill is very picturesque and the restaurant on the canal has decently-priced food and drinks. The service was excellent--very friendly and attentive. We had a couple of tap beers and some delicious poffertjes. Thank you for a lovely afternoon!

We came today to enjoy the view and the weather. When we came in the hostess put us at the back of a big fire place. We asked to sit behind the window but she said no because they’re reserved (ok, they’re table of 4 or more). 1 minute after, we saw 1 table of two just free so we asked if we can move. She was annoyed and told us we can’t sit there. She said that we should feel lucky that we could sit at our place because we didn’t reserve a table (ha, we didn’t feel lucky because we would pay our own food and the service, right?!). She looked tensed all the time and was unfriendly to other guests as well. I read someone wrote a review here that she needs a vacation. Couldn’t agree more! We ordered 2x Philly cheese steaks. It was really really disappointing. No steak in it, only maybe like 5 grams of paper thin sliced roast beef, cheap cheddar cheese and onions without taste. Really weird, they should look up in the internet what Philly cheese steak is. Ordered mustard soup that was also not good and watery. When we wanted to pay, the cashier didn’t even ask if everything is alright, i mean, cmon, that’s a basic thing in horeca right?! I noticed that he didn't asked the other guests before us as well. We were so surprised to experienced such a bad hospitality from the establishment. We would have complaint about this there, but once again, they didn't ask us how everything was. Sure that we’ll never comeback.
