★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly skilled, responsible and nice person, best luthier I ever worked with. Gary fixed my guitar and adjusted so that now I can easily play classics and flamenco. I recommend this workshop.
As a producer of electric guitars, he works with exotic types of wood, purple, snake, red and others. If you are looking for a purely hand made electric guitars, come and see De Clerq's ones. Especially Princess

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I asked Gary to crown the very flat frets of my Ibanez 2355 (lawsuit ES175 copy). He did a brilliant job. They look beautiful and the guitar plays like butter. I definitely recommend Gary as a luthier/repairer. Btw, I played one of the guitars he makes from scratch. You see and feel the same craftsmanship on those. I might buy one at some point. Great work, Gary!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gary is an outstanding luthier! He repaired my Japanese strat and I am extremely happy with it. He adjusted the level nut & settle height and improved the intonation of my guitar. Also, he cleaned the rosewood neck. Now the playibility of my guitar incredibly increased, so it seems that my strat was reborn again! He is such a kind person. So, even in the evening time he accepted my additional requests and let me visit him in his cool atelier in Utrecht :) He listens carefully the requests and delivers the guitar very quickly. I got my guitar just in 1 day! So, I am thinking to visit him again in the near future for my other guitar or in case of any additional adjustments on my strat. Highly recommended for the ones who live in the Netherlands & Europe. Thank you so much Gary, see you soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gary repaired and upgraded two of my vintage guitars and made them original jewels.He placed a new, solid mahogany top on my Kremona gypsy guitar and transformed my Amka archtop from the 40's into another top instrument as well. Both smoothly playable and with an exquisite sound. Gary De Clercq is a true master. Highly recommended!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gary is the guy to go to when you've need your precious vintage guitar worked on. This Gibson ES-125 came back to life after it developed a neck issue over the years. It was always acceptable, but Gary quickly assessed the problem and with respect for originality managed to make it fantastic again. It now sings at each fret! Very well recommended!
