 Well what should you judge about this now ... you see what tubes a box and a big fence around it ... a big info board what it is and what it does would be nice ...

Very nice environment, nice location for walking, taking pictures and unwinding.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leuk om een rondje omheen met de hond te lopen. Het complex zelf is stevig omheind, daar kom je niet per ongeluk op terecht. Achteraf wel een beetje dure honden uitlaat plaats dus, deze veel te grote gaspomp.
Nice to walk around with the dog. The complex itself is firmly fenced, you do not end up there by accident. In retrospect, a little expensive dog outlet, so this too much gas pump.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gasunie opened this Natural Gas compressor station back in 2011 to maintain pressure in the pipeline. Although a challenging project at the time it turned out to be overdimensioned.
Gasunie predicted gas consumption in Nederland would go up in the years following the construction of the compressor station. In reality though it didn't. Quite the opposite. The total volume of transported gas seems to slowly be falling every year.
As a result the compressor station ended up drawing much less power than the peak 60MVA the installation was designed to draw...
