★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was welcomed into the family tradition of dining out at Gauchos a few years ago. My husband and his family have been eating here for over 20 years and it’s a firm favorite.
Fantastic food, great service, wonderful atmosphere.
Always a pleasure dining here

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mediocre food, excellent service. Ordered the dinner menu. The soup was a bit cold when served. Steak is decent but not outstanding. Dessert was a lemon cake, which was too sweet. Worth noting that the staff was extremely professional and friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered bread as starter. It was served with olive oil, tapenade and garlic butter and the bread was warm fluffy.
For main dish, I had bife de lomo (tenderloin) (225g) and sweet potato fries. When served, the waiter asked if we wanted black pepper - they brought it with them. Upon yes they'd sprinkle some black pepper on your meat but you can't add it yourself as they don't leave it on your table. Luckily (sea) salt was on the table. The meat was good, perfectly medium cooked as asked. One of us ordered medium - well-done but that was basically medium cooked too. The sweet potato fries weren't crispy - they were soggy. Huge disappointment in that since it was 5 euros for a portion of sweet potato fries...
The staff was kind, the interior was pretty.
Good quality beef, not so good quality fries. A bit on the pricey side.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food. Simple, straight, dishes. I took the tuna and it was prepared good. The vegetables was lacking and the was but some salladleaves on the dish. A grilled half lemon was also there. Unfortunately the tuna and lemon does not work in combination so after trying I left the lemon to the side.
The dessert was a simple as the main. Grilled pineapple with vanilla ice cream and dulche. Simple but good.
The high rating comes from the service and ambience. And the fact that the food passed.
