β β β β β Ik heb een spoedaanvraag aangevraagd dus ik kon hem vandaag ophalen. Was het bij hun fout doorgegeven in het systeem.. zonde. Heb nu wel de prijs van de spoedaanvraag terug gekregen, maar het liefst had ik nu mijn rijbewijs gehad.
 I requested an urgent application so I was able to pick it up today. Had it been passed into the system by their mistake... a shame. I have now received the price of the urgent application back, but I would prefer to have had my driver's license now.

β β β β β De mensen zijn vriendelijk en het gebouw is overzichtelijk. Maar heel kil. Ik dacht dat het het oude politiebureau was waar geregeld verhoren werden gehouden. Blijkt niet zo te zijn, maar tekent hoe kil het gebouw is.
De snelle loketten vinden zich in een halve cirkel plaats naast de wachttafel. Voelt wat openbaar.
The people are friendly and the building is uncluttered. But very cold. I thought it was the old police station where regular interrogations were held. Turns out not to be, but shows how cold the building is.
The fast counters are located in a semicircle next to the waiting table. Feels a bit public.

β β β β β I try to call them several times. They hang up on me directly when they found I speak English. Or let me wait in a line for so long then 1 person pick it up directly tell me they can't not speak English. I do know, I am in the Netherlands, I am trying so hard to learn Dutch. So in other cases, I understand I have to speak Dutch. But seriously even in government organization there's no one who can speak English?? And they decided directly hang up on me?? I am also a citizen here who needs help.
