★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a great first impression when I entered the shop. Helpful barbers and welcoming atmosphere. You get invited for a cup coffee, which is very comforting. After taking your seat, relaxation begins.
I assure you that you will be in good hands.
Don't let me forget the background music. It's Blues, gentlemen!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrived in Groningen in September and was wary of picking a new barber. I saw that Gents had the best reviews and so I booked with Hussam. Time and time again I have consistently received excellent haircuts as well as exceptional service from each of the barbers there, coupled with the couch to relax and offered drinks I would not go anywhere other than Gents.
Hussam's attention to detail is second to none and a lot of thought has clearly gone into the shops design which makes the experience all the better.
As someone who goes to great lengths to find a good barber take it from me you need look no further than Gents.

Amazing barbers, very friendly and attentive, great atmosphere inside the shop and of course a great haircut and beard trim. Highly recommended for whoever is looking for a great haircut in the city, will definitely visit again!

I tried the four best google-rated barbers in Groningen and Gents barbershop is by far the best. The staff is very friendly and speaks perfect English. The haircuts do last very long compared to my other barber experiences. They manage to cut the hair like they grow, so you have a perfect haircut for several weeks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately had a bad experience here. Place looks amazing but I recieved the worst haircut I've ever had. Uneven length, terrible shape, fade and patches left long and sticking out. Its also almost €30 for a gents cut. My usual barber was horrified and didn't even charge me to fix it. Hussi is barber to avoid here.

You definitely get what you pay for and be sure to make your appointments a couple weeks in advance because these guys are almost always fully booked!
