Whenever we are at Het Heijderbos, we always make a special trip to Gennep to eat kibbling. Best kibbling around, counter contents so fresh and inviting, friendly service. Very tasty?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and friendly place to have great Dutch "vis specialiteiten" (fish specialties), either to eat in or take away. Everything here is spic and span as well. We love to visit Gerrit & Willeke Koelwijn when we are in Gennep. Not really low calorie food when it comes to fried fish and seafood, but "echt lekker" (yummy :P). The traditional "haring" (soused hering) might make up for people prone to a healthier nutrition: somewhat fattening, but the "good fat" though. Don't forget the raw onions it comes with and eat it as finger-food, just as the locals do.
