★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Like pretty much like all Dutch swimming pools I've been to the Geusseltbad got it all: large pool to do laps, "combi pool" with towers and a floating island for kids, and a "recreational pool" with everything from a water slide to Jacuzzis and tiny pools for toddlers. The entire facility is clean and nicely designed, and staff as well as visitors friendly and laid back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hours for outdoor recreation swimming are not friendly to those who work professionally- I think they might be embarrassed about closing so early actually which is why open hours for everyone are not listed on google maps! That’s an inconvenience but not reason to leave a bad review... but also the IVR call in is not user friendly for English speakers and they never pick up the phones. May as well check out the pool in the area of Maasmechlaan since this one is always crowded being the only public one in the city of Maastricht.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In Maastricht there are not many options when it comes to swimming. This one is the newest and largest (and one of the very few) public swimming pools in the city. There are different indoor swimming pools for recreational and warm water swimming, but the long-lane swimming for the public is limited to certain time-slots. When the temperature gets warm enough the outdoor swimming pool also gets open. There is a small barista-type place attached to the swimming pool, with a small playground for children.
