Ze spelen covers op gitaar van onder andere Pharrell Williams, Crowded House, Rolling Stones, Beatles, John Mayer, Eric Clapton...zo kan ik nog wel even doorgaan. Wat heel grappig is dat ze ook mobiel kunnen spelen. Dan komen ze met een draadloos microfoontje en een versterker op een accu. Is heel leuk voor een tuinfeest of iets dergelijks. Verder heel aardige jongens en te gekke muzikanten. Really a super fun guitar duo! Alleen vind ik het vaak maar even leuk voor twee liedjes en dan word ik er weer flauw van. Heel grappig is dat ik naar denk 3 keer drie kwartier The Acoustics geluisterd heb en het verveelde me geen moment. Het was ingetogen als de situatie daarom vroeg, swingend als het moment daar was, maar altijd de juiste liedjes op het juiste moment. Vond het verder qua repertoire ook goed dat alles een beetje aan bod kwam. Geinig wel om bijvoorbeeld ook Shout van Tears for Fears te horen, die heb ik nog niet vaak een live bandje horen spelen. Aan het eind van de avond wilden we dansen en ik moet zeggen dat ik verrast was dat The Acoustics ook iets swingends neer konden zetten met twee akoestische gitaren. Dat vond ik persoonlijk heel knap! It was very important to me that people could really catch up with each other. The music could be present, but it should not have the upper hand. With Acoustics we have succeeded completely. At the end of the evening we wanted to dance and I must say that I was surprised that The Acoustics could also put something swinging with two acoustic guitars.
